Why reconstruct Wewelsburg in 3D?
Three-dimensional reconstruction can expose spatial relationships that remain obscure in isolated plans, photographs and prose: sight lines, terrain dependence, scale, enclosure radii and conflicts between alternative planning states.
Its value is analytical only when uncertainty remains visible. Here, documented geometry is not silently blended with conjectural completion, and speculative layers begin switched off.
A visually coherent scene is not itself evidence. Coherence is a property of the model, not proof of the past.
